Cape Cod Museum of Art

The Cape Cod Museum of Art is located on the 20 acre campus of the Cape Cod Center for the Arts in Dennis, alongside the Cape Playhouse and Cape Cinema and showcases Cape Cod artists who have made their mark in the arts community. With exhibitions in seven galleries, a sculpture garden, art classes, lectures, library and special events throughout the year, the Cape Cod Museum of Art offers visitors the chance to see and experience a wide array of art.

All of the exhibits are by artists who are from the Cape or who have a strong connection to the Cape and surrounding areas. The Cape Cod Museum of Art decided to limit exhibitions to these artists because they feared that future generations might not be able to see art which represented their cultural and historical heritage.

The museum has a permanent collection of exquisite pieces which are scattered throughout the museum and exhibitions in seven galleries. If you love Cape inspired art or are interested in Cape artists, this is the museum to visit.
